Finding a Child Friendly Breed

If you have children of any age in your home, you may be worried about getting a dog that is going to be a good fit with the family. When you getting a dog you should always be aware of what type of dog you are getting and all the details that the breed entails. There are a few breeds that are known to work very well with children

The first breed that works well with children is the Golden Retriever. This breed is said to work with children because it is like a gentle giant. This dog will be nice and cuddling with your children, just in case your children want to play around with it.

The next breed that is very children appropriate is the Labradors. These dogs are a little bit bigger than the Golden Retrievers if you like bigger dogs. This dog has an overall very friendly demeanor and will not even harm a fly. They are not known to be mean dogs, and usually have a lot of energy to play with the children in the yard.

The next breed that you might consider would be the Beagles. This type of dog is a very lazy dog. The reason that they consider this kid friendly is because they quite loving dogs. They don’t have a lot of energy so it you are looking to play with this dog a lot, this might not be the dog for your family.
